Customer relations were successfully strengthened by Montana Aerospace’s Aerostructures divisions ASCO and Universal Alloy Corporation
Montana Aerospace once again showcased its expertise at this year’s Farnborough International Airshow (FIA). The company presented its innovative One-Stop-Shop concept and provided an insight into its product portfolio, which ranges from extruded material and structural components to flight critical assemblies.
One-Stop-Shop – A Key Differentiator
Montana Aerospace showcased its successful Aerostructures segment, which combines two historic companies, ASCO and Universal Alloy Corporation (UAC). “Farnborough International Airshow is the perfect venue to present our comprehensive One-Stop-Shop concept to customers, from raw material processing to final product assembly. In doing so, we utilize the synergies of ASCO and UAC, which we combine under the umbrella of Montana Aerospace,” says Montana Aerospace Co-CEO Kai Arndt. Numerous visitors to the booth were particularly interested in this internal expertise.
With its Aerostructures segment, Montana Aerospace has established itself as a leading provider of complete solutions for the global aerospace industry. With 12 production sites in Europe, the United States, Canada and Vietnam and 4,700 employees, the Montana Aerospace Aerostructures segment manufactures advanced extrusions, complex machined parts and assemblies, and flight-critical high-lift systems.
The group operates a total of 23 production sites, employs 7,200 people worldwide and offers complex solutions for the e-mobility and energy sectors.
During the Airshow Montana Aerospace established several future collaboration opportunities and strengthened its customer and supplier relations in numerous meetings.
Every two years, the aerospace, aviation and defense industries meet at Farnborough International Airshow (FIA) at the Farnborough International Exhibition & Conference Centre for the top-class aviation exhibition. With more than 1,500 exhibitors from almost 50 different countries, around 80,000 visitors over the 5 event days from around 100 countries came to find out about the latest innovations in aviation.
