Montana Aerospace has already taken numerous steps in recent years to make its production more energy efficient and significantly reduce its environmental impact, while maintaining high environmental standards. As part of the Net-Zero initiative, the company is setting clear priorities:
- Energy-efficient production: reduction of energy consumption and implementation of environmentally friendly production technologies.
- Focus on recycling: Expansion of internal aluminum recycling capacities and continuous
improvement of existing recycling programs to minimize the use of primary raw materials.
The production of recycled aluminum requires a fraction of the energy compared to the
production of primary aluminum.
- Reduction of gas consumption: switch to biogas and use of process heat; the aim is to
significantly reduce the use of fossil fuels and switch to renewable energies.
- Switch to 100% renewable energies: This includes the installation of photovoltaic systems
and the increased purchase of renewable energy sources.
With these priorities, Montana Aerospace is concretizing its plans and illustrating the significance of continuous innovation and development. Through targeted investments in photovoltaic systems and the switch to biogas, the company has not only reduced its ecological footprint, but is also actively working to reduce its environmental impact. The aim is to set new standards in the industry by integrating new technologies and processes and to make a significant contribution to promoting sustainable development throughout our industry.

*The Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi) is an international organization that helps companies set ambitious emissions reduction targets that reflect the latest science on climate change.
